DE Ron Brace Placed on IR

New England Patriots defensive end Ron Brace was placed on injured reserve Monday following the team’s victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Brace, who was a star at Boston College, is playing his second year in the league and appeared to have a promising future, when healthy.

The former Eagle injured his elbow in week 16 against the Buffalo Bills and did not play last Sunday in the team’s season finale.

The 6’3″ 330 lbs. linemen will leaving a hole on an already thinned defensive line. The second year pro played in 13 games and recorded 23 tackles with no sacks.
