New England Patriots Sign Two DL To Roster

The New England Patriots made two transactions Tuesday night by signing defensive linemen Atiyyah Ellison to their 53-man active roster. The Patriots also added defensive linemen Marlon Favorite to their practice squad.

Ellison, 29, is a former third-round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2005. Ellison has played in 15 games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2009 while making 16 tackles and was last seen with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 6’3″, 315 pounder was cut by the Chiefs on October 27.

Favorite is a 6’1″, 295 pound is a second year pro out of LSU. He was last active on Indianapolis Colts practice squad.
